Artist, Debbie Grossman has been painting all of her life. She was born in NYC in 1964. She now resides in sunny South Florida.
In 1995 as she was grieving after the death of her beloved grandmother, Grossman could not sleep at night. Instead she would stay up painting. During that time she painted 50 paintings in a little over 2 months!
Soon after, Debbie met her husband to be. He entered one of her pieces in an art contest. Grossman wound up placing 2nd out of 1,300 artists in the U.S. and Canada. "In the Jungle" was on display in The Hunter Museum of Art in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1996.
After Debbie and Alan wed they honeymooned in France. There they took many photos. After they returned, Debbie would paint canvases of those scenes in oil. One of her paintings, entitled "Honeymoon in Nice" was selected as one of the Top 100 pieces of art from 3,000 other artists in the world. She was honored in La Jolla, California in 1998.
In addition, she was chosen in South Florida as a top 100 artist in Fort Lauderdale and honored by the mayor in Pembroke Pines.
Debbie Grossman has been showing and selling her artwork for the past 20 years. She loves painting and is always coming up with new and fresh ideas.
